Blob Jar Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 28, 2026

Blob Jar is a casual puzzle game for adults (18+) made by Kiko's Studio. We built it to collect as little as possible about you: nothing that identifies you leaves your device.

What we do not collect

Blob Jar has no accounts, no ads, no analytics, no tracking and no in-app purchases. We do not collect your name, email, age, location, contacts, photos, microphone, camera or device identifiers, and we never sell or share data.

What stays on your device

Your progress (coins, stars, items, settings, unlocked snacks, your made-up player name and your answer to the 18+ question) is saved only in the app's storage on your own device. Deleting the app, or clearing the site's data in your browser, deletes it.

Online parties

Online play only happens when you create or join a party with a 4-letter room code. Player names are picked from a fixed list of fun words (like "Zesty Bean"), so nobody can type or share a real name. There is no chat: players can only send pre-written taunts.

During a party the game sends your made-up name, snack avatar, rank title and live game moves (for example your jar and score) to the other players in that room, through our own room server at rooms.playkiko.app. It only relays messages between players in the same room. Rooms are wiped automatically within 10 minutes of everyone leaving, and always within 6 hours. We do not keep any record of who played.

Hosting

The game and room server are hosted by Cloudflare. Like any website, Cloudflare receives your device's IP address in order to deliver the game and may keep limited security logs under its own privacy policy. We do not turn on visitor logging or analytics.

Age

Blob Jar is for players 18 and older because it includes casino-style play (spins and a coin pot you can risk). All coins are pretend: they can't be bought with real money, cashed out or traded, and nothing in the game has real-world value. Blob Jar is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 (or from anyone at all).

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
